Released in 1998, the EX5 synthesizer showcased advanced features for its time, such as Analog Modeling, Virtual Acoustic Modeling, FDSP multi-Synthesis Modeling, and sample playback capabilities. Combining various sound synthesis techniques, the EX5 was highly regarded for its unique qualities. While not all virtual modeling aspects were replicated, the captured warmth, richness, and essence of the original machine are prominent in this meticulously crafted virtual instrument. The instrument pays homage to the iconic EX5, offering a comprehensive and detailed sampling experience that closely mirrors the real hardware.

<li>The expansion includes iPhone compatibility and allows seamless library integration through a unified interface</li>
<li>No Free Crossgrades are available between Expansion and Dedicated/Standalone versions; both offer identical sound selections</li>

<li>A 2GHz ARM Processor is recommended; supported devices include various models of iPad Pro, iPad, and iPad Air (Gen 3)</li>
<li>For External Sample Streaming, Fast External SSD Drives are recommended over USB Thumb Drives for optimal performance</li>

<li>Purchasing the iOS Version does not grant access to the desktop version; separate purchases are required for each platform/version</li>
<li>The number of AUv3 instances is device-dependent and subject to the capabilities of your AUv3 Host and device specifications</li>
<li>The app does not fully replicate certain hardware elements such as FDSP, AN Engine, and VL Synthesis; Arpeggiators are also not included due to limitations in capturing exact synthesis/effects through sampling alone.</li>
